"COLORFUL VISIONS OF ANCIENT ROME" IN YEREVAN

The exclusive exhibition of mosaics entitled "Colorful visions of ancient Rome" brought to Yerevan from the Capitol Museums of Rome until September 29 will be introduced at the National Gallery of Armenia. The exhibition includes a rich assortment of illustrations and ornaments created by the use of various materials.

This unique collection of Capitol museums - the world's oldest museum, includes unique artifacts from private houses and gardens as well as from tombs. The presented mosaics had been decorating various historical figures (such as Julius Caesar) and represent the rich wealth of Italian mosaics and high quality craftsmanship.
