On New Year's Eve, December 31 at 23:00, the famous Balkan musician and composer Goran Bregovich will give a concert on the Republic Square in Yerevan. This will be the fourth performance of Goran Bregovich in Armenia. He first performed here in 2010 as part of the “Yerevan Perspectives” music festival.

Goran Bregovich is a world known composer and musician from Eastern Europe. He was born in Bosnia and Herzegovina and considers himself a Yugoslav, which is clearly reflected in his work. Soundtracks for Emir Kusturica's films, such as “Time of the Gypsies”, “Arizona Dream” (with the participation of Iggy Pop) and “Underground”, brought worldwide popularity to Goran Bregovic. In Eastern Europe, he is also known for his rock band Bijelo Dugme. Bregovich is a laureate of the César Award in the nomination "Best Soundtrack" and the European Film Academy Award in the nomination "Best Composer".

The performances of Goran Bregovic combine gypsy and modernized Balkan motifs, a symphony orchestra, Serbian-Croatian rock and jazz. At his concerts, he often performs hits “Bella Ciao”, “Gas Gas Gas”, “In the Death Car”.
