GROWING INTEREST TO VISIT ARTSAKH AMONG THE TRAVELLERS

Year by year the interest to visit Artsakh increases among travellers. In 2018 Artsakh was visited by travelers from 87 countries:  Russia, USA, France, Germany, Iran, and China. Interesting fact is the increasing trend among travellers from Israel. In 2018, 112 tourists visited Artsakh from Israel. The reason to travel Artsakh is different. Some prefer to enjoy nature, rural tourism, some travellers love to visit the historical and cultural sites, and the others come in the path of event tourism or prefer active rest. Generally, the most visited places are Stepanakert, Shushi, Gandzasar, Dadivank, and Amaras. A number of upcoming events planned in Artsakh are growing; so the flow of travellers from different countries is expected.
