17:00 Start from the “Key” of Northern Avenue

meeting the participants, basic information about Armenia and Yerevan, stages of development of Yerevan

17:05 Armenian Carpet shop

 Excursion in Carpet shop on Abovyan Street, the history of Armenian carpet making, the characteristics of Armenian rugs.

17:15 Excursion in “Dalan” souvenir shop

Visit to an old-styled cafe which used to be a house of a rich man, after which the building became a cafe, where the participants can have great photos

17:30 The building of Moscow Cinema 

17:45  Gata tasting from a local Bakery

On the street called Tumanyan, one can see a very unique bakery with very tasty local gata (Armenian sweets). The guide will treat you with the most delicious and most famous Armenian gata. Here you can also see the stove (Armenian tonir), where the sweets are made.

18:10  Armenian National Opera and Ballet Theatre

The participants of the city tour will see it both inside and out and will go back through the history of the building.This part of the tour starts near the statue of Aram Khachatryan, then the guests enter through the service entrance and get to know history through the photography gallery. After that the guests visit the main hall, see the concert preparation/backstage, amphitheater, platform and finally roof from where a magnificent view of the Cascade Complex and Victory Park opens. And at the end, you will approach the famous "Singing Bench" and enjoy the wonderful music of Khachaturian .

18:45 Cascade complex

Cascade is one of the favorite places to visit by tourists. Especially during evening time one can admire the beautiful city lights of Yerevan from Cascade. 

18:50 Cafesjian Center of Arts

Here the participants will get to the Cafesjian Center of Arts. The main focus of the museum is the presentation of world fine art in Armenia. The number of annual visitors to Cafesjian Art Center exceeds 1,000,000.

19:05 Saryan's Park

Saryan's Park in Yerevan is the place where you can sit and enjoy the pieces of art, and if you liked one of them, you can buy it. At the heart of this park stands a remarkable marble statue of Martiros Saryan, crafted by sculptor Levon Tokmajyan and architect Artur Tarkhanyan in 1986.

19:10 Tashir Street Shopping Gallery

There are about 70 stores offer various clothing, footwear, interior decorations and furniture, children’s products, accessories, and more. The shopping center has become a center of attraction both for city residents and tourists. It has a special atmosphere resonating with the architecture of Northern Avenue itself—classical yet democratic

19:20 Vedi Alco wine shop

 Five types of Armenian wine degustation in the well-known Vedi Alco wine factory shop. Vedi Alco company has been continuing centuries-old experiences and traditions of Armenian winemaking since 1938. And here in the heart of Yerevan you have a chance to visit the shop and have a finest wine tasting. Wine types are: Areni dry wine, Vernashen semi-sweet wine, Pomegranate wine, Old Yerevan white wine and Rose Bolgrad.

19:55 Singing fountains of Republic Square

Republic Square is the heart of Yerevan. In summer and spring, people gather here together to listen to the singing fountains and see their “dance”. In winter time Republic Square is decorated with Christmas decorations and looks like in a fairy tale. Republic Square is the finishing point of the city tour, which will help you to get to know the pink city Yerevan a little better

20:00  END OF THE TOUR

2 Abovyan Str., Arno Babajanyan concert hall. The last stop will be at State Philharmonia of Armenia, which has been running since 1930. Here you will find unique architecture inside the building and famous Armenian painter Saryan's pаintings on the windows in the form of colorful stained glass.
